Newtown Creek Plant Tour/Visit: 3/25 @ 10am

We are now confirmed for a Friday, March 25, 10am tour up to the digester eggs of the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant with the plant superintendent Jim Pynn.

If your schedule allows, do take the opportunity to visit – this is the city’s first public visitor center for an infrastructure project! It’s not normally the case that such facilities are made even partially publicly accessible, and the talk will be worthwhile.

Read more about the digester eggs here. They process 1.5 million gallons of NYC’s sludge daily.
