(99) Koolhaas revisited

I keep thinking about his idea of the postexistential world “where am I”?  The incidental quality of geography. Looking at the Wal-Mart distirbution center (“People are the difference”) that could be built anywhere – determined by tax breaks, traffic infrastructure, how the capacity of architecture (and transport and communications) to overcome traditional geographic determinates … in some weird (and perhaps typical way) the avant-garde of SI’s psychogenography has become true on corporate level.
